Key takeaways
- Apple Wallet can hold a pass for your business card, showing your name, job title, email and phone.
- You need a provider that issues Wallet passes — Koroot includes it on every plan.
- Open the portal in Safari, choose Add to Wallet on your card, then tap Add.
- Share with other people by NFC tap, QR code or link; they do not need Apple Wallet.
What is an Apple Wallet business card?
Apple Wallet is not only for boarding passes and loyalty cards. It can also hold a pass for your business card: a compact card on your iPhone showing your name, job title, email address and phone number, with your company and department on the back.
The pass is a quick-reference version of your card. Your full digital profile — photo, company, social links, location and portfolio — still lives online, and that is what people see when they tap your NFC card or scan your QR code. Wallet simply keeps your essentials one swipe away.
What do you need?
- An iPhone with the Wallet app, which comes built in.
- A digital business card from a provider that issues Apple Wallet passes — Koroot does on every plan.
- About five minutes.
How do you add your Koroot card to Apple Wallet?
Sign in to Koroot
Open the Koroot portal in Safari on your iPhone and sign in with your email, Google or LinkedIn.
Create your card
Upload a photo of your paper card or describe yourself in a sentence, and let AI fill in your details in English and Arabic. Check them and save.
Activate a plan
Choose a plan so your card goes live. Plans start at OMR 1 (AED 9.55) a month — see all plans.
Choose Add to Wallet
In your list of cards, open the card's menu and choose Add to Wallet. Your iPhone downloads the pass and shows a preview.
Tap Add
Tap Add at the top of the preview. Your card now appears in the Wallet app.
How do you keep the Wallet pass up to date?
Your online profile updates the moment you edit it, so everyone who taps or scans your card always sees the latest version. The Wallet pass is a snapshot of your essentials: if your job title, email or phone number changes, edit your card in Koroot and add it to Wallet again to refresh the pass.
What about Android?
Apple Wallet only runs on iPhone. People you meet who use Android still receive your card the same way — by NFC tap, QR code or link — and it opens in their browser. If you use Android yourself, save your card's link to your home screen for quick access.
